Description
Piacenza honeydew honey: sweet & bitter
Characterised by iridescent reflections against a caramel-coloured background, honeydew honey has an aroma of floral notes followed by vegetal, spicy and balsamic notes.
Its natural sweetness is balanced by bitterness, evoking notes of fresh fruit followed by caramel, roasted nuts and wax.
It pairs perfectly with ice cream and dehydrated fruit. Also excellent as a complement to fresh and soft cheeses.
Apicoltura Emanueli, a 100% Piacenza-based, artisan company with more than 50 years of history behind it, produces honey using only traditional methods, respecting the seasons, the ecosystem and biodiversity.
Apicoltura Emanueli currently has more than 250 hives in the province of Piacenza, and produces as many as 8 varieties of honey, all of which can be found on our platform.
