Description
Ailanthus honey from Piacenza: soft and aromatic
Also known as the tree of paradise, the ailanthus is a plant of Chinese origin, now present in Italy for several centuries, and now naturalised on our territory.
Ailanthus honey is soft to the touch, with luminous amber-coloured highlights. It evolves into a creamy paste very slowly. Aroma: intense and fresh, balsamic notes, spicy vanilla and caramel. Taste: nuances of flowers and beeswax, followed by delicate and persistent balsamic and dried fruit notes.
Apicoltura Emanueli, a 100% Piacenza-based, artisan company with more than 50 years of history behind it, produces honey using only traditional methods, respecting the seasons, the ecosystem and biodiversity.
Apicoltura Emanueli currently has more than 250 hives in the province of Piacenza, and produces as many as 8 varieties of honey, all of which can be found on our platform
