Gutturnio DOC sparkling red wine by Vicobarone Winery
Gutturnio DOC sparkling red wine, produced from Barbera and Croatina grapes, it owes its name to a silver mug called “Gutturnium” used by the ancient Romans.
This wine, which is the highest expression of our wine tradition, comes from grapes produced from the best vineyards of the winery; sought after for soil characteristics, age of plants and exposure and cultivated with passion and respect.
Ideal to accompany typical dishes of the Emilian tradition: old and hot cured meats, roasted or stewed white and red meats, medium-aged cheeses.
Serve at room temperature between 14° – 16°C.

Grapes: Barbera (55%) and Croatina (45%)
Provenance: hills of the municipalities of Ziano Piacentino and Castel San Giovanni
Alcoholic strength: 13% vol.
Color: intense red
Taste: dry, velvety, sparkling
Processing: Traditional on the skins and subsequent second fermentation in
autoclave for about 35-40 days.
