The Piacenza shallot CO.P.A.P, a tasty bulb, often associated with onion, imported to Europe in the middle age, has been used for centuries in Mediterranean recipes. With a taste similar to onion, they are however more delicate, and are perfectly suited to the preparation of sauces, pies and cooked dish in general.
The shallot, however, is also excellent raw, finely chopped it is an excellent substitute for onion in salads.
Piacenza shallot CO.P.A.P. it is grown in a traditional and respectful way, which allows to obtain a perfect aromatic yield, at each harvest.
