Caravaggio: an italian preciuos red wine IGT Emilia by Romagnoli
As with the paintings of the great painter, in the wines of this particular line, the nuances of flavors make the difference. This fine italian red wine IGT Caravaggio, comes from grapes harvested manually, a part of which harvested late.
The late harvest allows a higher sugar and aromatic concentration. After harvesting, pressing and maceration in contact with the skins, the wine ages in French oak barriques for 12 months.
With a deep ruby red color, the nose reveals notes of crunchy red fruits, along with hints of wood and cherries in alcohol. Upon tasting, the wine is agile and fresh, with a moderate residual sugar and a pleasant drink.
Cantine Romagnoli was founded in 1857 as an agricultural reality, and since the mid-1900s it has been producing wines at the gates of the Val Nure. Try the other wines of the Cantine Romagnoli range on our shop
