The long aging period of this variety, which goes over 30 months, gives the cheese a unique aroma and taste. The result is a typical food, which is excellent as an energy snack, as aperitif or grated on first courses.
Born from the need to store large quantities of milk for the many people who already passed through the Piacenza area since the Middle Ages, a crossroads of cultures and roads of national importance, Grana Padano is a slow-ripening hard, cooked cheese.
Choose the different aging: 18, 24 and 30 months.
