CO.P.A.P., acronym for Cooperative Producers Aglio Piacentino, was founded in Monticelli d’Ongina (PC) in 1976 with the aim of safeguarding and improving the production of the local variety of Piacenza white garlic.
It is the only cooperative of garlic producers in Italy that brings together a total of 30 members, and which continues to invest in the quality of products and production, totally Made in Italy.
CO.P.A.P. processes, preserves, packages and markets fresh products such as Piacenza white garlic, onions and shallots.
The processing phases (from sowing to drying the garlic) still take place according to tradition, largely still entrusted to the hand of man. Human experience crosses with the latest technologies to offer a safe and versatile product: in the processing and storage plant, in fact, modern systems allow the quality of the product to be maintained unchanged without the need for additives. In fact, Piacenza white garlic does not contain anti-sprouting.
